'There are many musics here and all of them transcend Nipper: some that start with sounds and not ideas; others where the material may seem like it is asking of you, rather than you it; some of a very visual nature; others that seek ways through the potential chaos of the post-Cagean sound world; works that, whatever their differences, lean towards a deregulated field of artistic production in which, ultimately, anything (and everything) goes.
Above all, this is a document where the nature of sound is conditioned by the degree of our immersion
in a given sound event. And the sound event, in this case, was defined in the very process of just listening.'
